The Last Week

It doesn't seem real...in less than 4 days, i will be leaving this cold land, and jetting off to warmer climates.
Work is finished, the house is slowly being decorated, possessions either boxed or sorted and cleared...recycling on to others! But there still seems to be many things left to do, and why do we have so many things, or is that just me...those books bought with good intentions to read, those pictures that looked so good, but not enough wall space to display all that possess. The cards that are kept as memories...hey even some of the photos are reminiscient of a time that may be forgot.
The plan is...Stage 1.
Fly on Feb 14th (Valentine's day!) leaving Manchester, and going via Dubai airport to Entebbe, arriving Sunday about 3. Meeting others from Altrincham & Trowbridge, working as part of Ugandaid Charity, who are due to landed about 23.15 Monday we go onto Jinga, where over the next 12 days we will be working in a school, vocational institute and a village (digging pit latrines, working on the village well...). I will then stay on for a couple of weeks, doing some office work for another charity, Act4Africa.
Then fly on down to Jo'burg area for a week, before flying onto CapeTown, and surrounding areas for 3 weeks, before returning to Uk (of no fixed abode). Where visits will be made to family, friends and old haunts (well some at least), and then continue on Stage 2 (Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia) specifics to be worked out at a later date.
